Paul Courtaway - Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Courtaway, CEO of Advanced Odessa Hospital & Clinics, holds close ties to Midland-Odessa and understands the importance of a community connection. Paul’s experience in the United States Marine Corps as an F/A- 18 Hornet Pilot has shown him the importance a team makes in delivering on an organization’s mission. With this knowledge, he is dedicated to a culture focused on community impact through patient-centered care and support from team members who make a difference. In his free time, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and dogs. When he’s not outside on his cattle ranch, he loves hunting, fishing, and giving back to the community through charitable organizations.
John R. Molland, M.D., F.A.C.O.G. - Chief of Staff
Dr. Molland has served the Permian-Basin for over two decades and joins the Advanced Odessa Hospital & Clinics team as Chief of Staff. Dr. Molland is a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist specializing in providing high-quality care from prenatal to delivery. He is knowledgeable in all aspects of women’s health and wellness. Dr. Molland holds several professional society memberships, including the Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association, and Ector County Medical Society. As Chief of Staff at Advanced Odessa, Dr. Molland looks forward to continuing to make a difference for those who call Midland-Odessa home.
Kevin Smoot, - Executive Director, Subacute Trauma Program
Kevin Smoot joins Advanced Diagnostics Healthcare System with over 30 years of management and sales and marketing experience. Mr. Smoot has extensive experience in business development and managing business units. Outside of work Mr. Smoot has worked on the advisory board for the Texas Southern School of Business, Big Brother and Big Sisters, Prisoners Entrepreneur Program (PEP) and volunteers at Provision School in Houston.
